Our Mission
Creation is not something which can be grasped with a single image, nor is all of its complexity able to be gazed upon by the most seasoned of travelers. We are all travelers at heart. We have a longing for great exploration, yet simultaneously experience brilliant comfort from the place we call home.
For some of us, home smells like a half-smoldered campfire on a brisk morning. And for others, it is the sound of a creaking floor under our bare toes as we tread down familiar wood-grain paths. Regardless of where our sense of home comes from, we can be sure that the same One who set the stars in the sky crafted into us the longing to find fulfillment in such a place.
Our mission is to share the message of hope and home- that there is a place to "belong" that supersedes geographic boundaries.

Our Values
We believe that the mission of the gospel is an enigma. It is incredibly complex yet infinitely simple. This is best articulated through the lens of Matthew 13: 1-12.
"That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”
The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”
He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."
Once Jesus' ministry took off the Gospel authors are sure to remind us that He had little to no time for Himself. In fact, the only time we see Him alone are in the midnight hours when the rest of His disciples are fast asleep. Jesus' time was spent proclaiming the radical message of His Father's immanent Kingdom. Matthew's gospel in particular is sure to allow the reader a glimpse into Jesus' daily activities, and Matthew 13 is no exception; here we find 3 principles highlighted in Jesus' address to his disciples which have contributed to the development of our "Core Values ."
